All of us from time to time need a little inspiration in our lives, and more specifically in our design life. Below are some of my favorite visual archives and websites that update daily with new beautiful and compelling imagery.
We Love Typography
Great source of beautiful typographic inspiration updated frequently throughout the day. I particularly enjoy how easily it is to navigate between pages using your keyboards arrow keys — great for finding inspiration quickly.
Image Spark
Image Spark is not only a great tool for finding inspiration uploading by the users, but also a nifty little solution for easily uploading and tagging imagery to your own account.
FFFFOUND!
One of my all time favorites and also my Firefox homepage. I enjoying opening my browser every morning a scrolling through the diverse range of inspiration.
I just recently discovered Share Some Candy and I must say I love the imagery that is uploaded a few times daily! Much of the work uploaded has a retro / vintage feel to it, but great source of inspiration for color and illustration.
Swiss Miss
Great daily inspiration archive by designer Tina Roth Eisenberg. If you haven’t discovered Swiss Miss by now you are missing the boat. Great content, great inspiration and really cool discoveries. Her blog always keeps me entertained.
designworklife
Updated daily, dwl was established to catalog and share design-centric inspiration.
Friends of Type
Another great frequently updated vault of typography inspiration.
Information is Beautiful
Although this site is not updated daily, it does provide a new interesting take on inspiration — and who doesn’t love beautiful infographics?
SiteInspire
siteInspire is a great archive for web design inspiration. It has thousands of beautiful websites and is updated daily. The quality of sites selected are some of the best I’ve seen.
Graphic-Exchange
Really beautiful selections of various design related discoveries.
Point&Anchor
Point&Anchor is a blog dedicated to showcasing and promoting creative students and recent graduates from around the world.
Brand New
A daily showcase and opinion website displaying only corporate and brand identity work.
Ember
Now the questions is, “How do I store all this information?”
The solution: LittleSnapper!
I am a huge fan and daily user of LittleSnapper. For those unfamiliar with LittleSnapper, it is an elegant (Mac only, sorry) solution for snapping entire web pages or areas of your screen/desktop with the ability to organize, edit, and share your inspiration using the integrated Ember image uploading service or Flickr uploading ability built into LittleSnapper. Check out my LittleSnapper inspiration on Flickr.

What’s your favorite daily visual inspiration site?

These sites are awesome. Just added 3 of them to my favorites. Thanks Brian!
Some great ones to add to my list. Thanks, Brian.
Thanks for sharing, 2 of my favorites are:
http://www.behance.net
http://www.grafikcache.com/
Thanks for some new ones, I quite like ‘today and tomorrow’ and ‘beautiful decay’.
Also check out dropular.net
Actually The Design Cubicle is one of mines, Smashing Magazine http://www.smashingmagazine.com/, and The Fuel Network http://www.fuelbrandnetwork.com/
Great selection. I visited those sites above a lot, but missed this one: http://www.ok-blog.nl
Awesome list presented here Brian. Some of these I have not been to before so I will be sure to check them out. Another great one is @Abduzeedo ‘ s Daily Inspiration blog posts, I think he does a great job at compiling a very abstract list of findings http://abduzeedo.com/
Second vote for Dropular from me.
It blows FFFFound out of the water, much better interface and high quality work. A must see!!
Nice list. Got several of them bookmarked already. You need to include http://www.formfiftyfive.com
A good list and intriguing websites. I noticed that Dropular is going to be down for 2 months, tho. Unfortunately, to actually participate (use the site personally), invitations are necessary. A web and browser based service that does something similar to Little Snapper is Kwout. I’ve used it several times and find it’s rather easy to use. Look forward to more …
thanks Brian, all the websites you showcased here have great value..i couldn’t miss even one of them.
Excellent selection Brian, some I’ve heard of others I hadn’t but will certainly be bookmarking now, Cheers!
