Typography can be a beautiful element to any website (or printed design for that matter). Not only do the curves and bends of letter forms create a stunning visual appeal to a website, but good effective typography and proper grid placement can help visitors read text more clearly, distinguish a hierarchy of information and paint pictures and images with words and their surrounding negative space.

This is a nice collection. The ones (earlier in the list) with the retro looks are among the best. I’ve always maintained that typography has the power to single-handedly lift a website from being just good to being simply great. This list is proof to that!
