What is BannerSnack?
BannerSnack is an online banner generator that allows you to easily create animated banner ads and cool flash animations without Flash programming.
BannerSnack contains tranisitions, effects and filter options that enable you to quickly and stylishly create text and image banner animations. It works much like presentation software and is 100% online based. You are able to create custom sized banners and import your own photographs to be used throughout the banners. Also, the interface is very clean and structured making it easy for anyone to use.
Once completed, BannerSnack automatically generates code that you can easily copy and paste into any website, blog, etc.

I would like to create awesome banner ads. Most banner ads I see are generic stand alone gifs that do not do anything. That is not interesting or enticing, people want to see a funny banner ad that has character, that is what I will create with a banner shack license.

As a Promo, this contest works; you are introducing folks to a tool they hadn’t seen, or at least had the chance to try out, previously. If it degrades elegantly (works in non-flash powered browsers as well as flash-enabled environments) then it will be a very useful tool indeed. If this is a voting-type competition, I vote for the middle school teacher; that type of person gets no resources to do the most important kind of job for our collective future. Obviously I vote for myself for the second place position (out of your stated 3 winners) because I want to play with the new toy, see how it stacks up against other variations both commercial and open source, and write a review that will help people make up their own minds about which tool to buy, install, and fight their way past the learning curve to get proficient at.
I would love to win the bannersnack license, because i can use it very well for banners i publish on the video minisite (organisation who is streaming there meetings on video) i’m going to release later this month.
I would love to win a premium subscription to this service because I used to be creative and could make my own good banners but anymore I’m all code minded and nothing graphical. This is hurting my abilities immensely and I feel not only I, but my clients deserve these banners.

I am in the process of expanding my web design business to include ad designing. A product like BannerSnack will allow me to rapidly deploy ads for my clients at a fraction of the time and cost that the traditional Adobe Flash + designer combo would use.
