Type Expedition Photos From Philly and New York

Recently I had the opportunity to introduce Baton Rouge graphic designer and typography lover, Alise Johnson, to two great North East Coast cities of Philadelphia and New York City.

Here are a few photographs from her stay with a few beautiful examples of typography we can across along the way from two cities that are lavished with astonishing art, design and architecture. If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit either of these cities, I highly suggest it from a design stand point… especially Philadelphia!

UCDA Designer Magazine Recognizes Design Cubicle - *toot, toot*

Recently brought to my attention by Jeff Fisher via a tweet, the Design Cubicle and I were lucky enough to be included among the winter 2008 UCDA Designer Magazine’s ‘resources for bookmarking’. University and College Designers Association(UCDA), which promotes excellence in visual communications for education resources, has more than 1,000 members throughout the United States and Canada.
